Senior Vision Issues
Our doctors have over 70 years of collective experience in dealing with senior vision issues. As we age, there is a much greater risk for developing various eye conditions. Seniors are at a greater risk for developing glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye syndrome, corneal issues and age related macular degeneration. Vision issues can cause difficulty in reading, writing, watching television, driving, etc.
See our other sections on macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eyes and cataracts for more information about each of these conditions.
It is very important for seniors to have annual eye examinations to look for these conditions and begin treatment to help cure or slow down the condition. If vision loss does occur, our doctors specialize in low vision care to help those patients continue to function and live independently.
If it has been over a year since your last eye examination, call 765-348-2020 to schedule an appointment.
